Part 1: The Jacobs, Clintons, Radys and the UCSD Machine—a San Diego Elite Operation
After decades and decades, it just keeps on cranking, mostly because people don't even realize what's been in motion.
A recent and concerning visit to the University of California San Diego campus is what has me writing this article. I’ve lived in San Diego for a while and I’m familiar with all the names in my headline, however, I’ve been unaware of the degree to which these well-known figures have impacted this region. It’s only because I’ve been seeking to understand the source of our current chaos that I bring you this information.
I’ve become acquainted with the prominent Jacobs family after learning that Jewish Family Service (along with Catholic Charities and others) was one of the organizations systematically aiding the illegal immigration at the San Diego County border. Through their various foundations, both Ernest Rady and Irwin Jacobs donate millions to this “nonprofit,” which saw a quadruple in revenue under this past Biden administration. Fortunately, it’s just been reported that the migrant center run by Jewish Family Service is being shut down.
Irwin Mark Jacobs, Founder of Qualcomm
Irwin Jacobs was born in 1933 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. While studying electrical engineering at Cornell University in the 1950s, he met Joan Klein and the two married in 1954. Irwin went on to earn his doctorate in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he was also a professor.
After being recruited to San Diego by the University of California, the Jacobs family moved to Southern California in 1966 to become a founding faculty member of the university. Jacobs served as a professor in the Department of Applied Electrophysics (now the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department) from 1966 to 1972, helping launch the engineering school at UCSD.
While a professor at UCSD in the early 70s, Irwin Jacobs collaborated with other UCLA professors to start Linkabit Corp, a digital telecommunications consulting firm for government defense and telecommunications industries. DARPA and NASA were among some of their first clients. The company was acquired by M/A-COM and eventually became part of Viasat, which has grown to be the leading satellite communications company in the world and is headquartered here in Carlsbad, CA.
Viasat now has mega-million dollar contracts with our Department of Defense to support C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) and other capabilities. The technology created by Irwin Jacobs at Linkabit continues its legacy through Viasat today. In fact, over 75 tech companies in San Diego exist because of the work of Linkabit engineers.
Pictured below is Irwin’s grandson, Jett Jacobs, a software engineer currently employed by Viasat.
“In July 1985, Jacobs and six Linkabit colleagues, including Andrew Viterbi, founded Qualcomm. With no products, no business plan, and a very small staff, Qualcomm focused on creating “QUALity COMMunications.” They didn’t know it yet, but one of their ideas would change everything—not just for the company, but for the world.” -Qualcomm website.
Qualcomm is best known for its pioneering work in wireless communications technology, particularly in the development of CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) and 5G technologies, which are foundational to modern mobile networks.
Key Technologies Qualcomm Developed:
CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) – This revolutionized cellular communication by allowing multiple signals to share the same frequency band, increasing network capacity and efficiency. CDMA became a core technology in 3G mobile networks and set the stage for future advancements.
5G and LTE (Long-Term Evolution) – Qualcomm has been a leader in developing 4G LTE and 5G technologies, enabling faster data speeds, lower latency, and improved connectivity worldwide. Their Snapdragon processors and modems are widely used in smartphones, tablets, and IoT devices.
Snapdragon Processors – Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips power most of the world’s Android smartphones, providing cutting-edge performance, AI capabilities, and battery efficiency.
Semiconductor and RF Technologies – Qualcomm is a leader in radio frequency (RF) chips, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and AI-powered computing, used in a variety of consumer electronics, including smartwatches, cars, and VR headsets.
Satellite Communication (Snapdragon Satellite) – They have developed technologies enabling direct satellite communication for smartphones, enhancing global connectivity in remote areas.
Why This Matters Globally
Qualcomm’s innovations enable billions of people worldwide to connect through mobile networks.
Their 5G technology is shaping the future of smart cities, autonomous vehicles, and IoT devices.
Their chipsets are used in almost every major smartphone brand, including Samsung, Google, and Xiaomi.
Qualcomm, Legislation and Military Contracts
In 2024, Qualcomm spent over $7 million lobbying various governmental agencies concerning artificial intelligence legislation, 5G wireless technologies, and policies related to automated vehicle technologies.
Our Department of Defense has been contracting with Qualcomm for years. One recent project between the two focuses on actionless multifactor authentication. This leverages Qualcomm's Snapdragon mobile platform to enable secure IT system access without requiring users to manually interact with security tokens or devices, but instead uses biometrics for identity and access management.
Qualcomm has collaborated with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) on several initiatives through the Department of Defense, focusing on advancing microelectronics to support defense applications, and enhancing deep learning and data analysis capabilities through DARPA's HIVE project.
Qualcomm is an active participant in a global alliance of telecommunication companies who work to shape 5G, 6G, and other standards. Non-governmental committees from Europe, China, Japan, India, Korea and USA make up this global initiative called 3GPP: the 3rd Generation Partnership Project. 3GPP is the telecommunications equivalent of the World Health Organization. Both are nongovernmental commissions that dictate standards on a worldwide scale that have not been adopted by voters. If you are concerned about how frequency affects the human body, I believe this would be something to look into.
At the time of writing this, Qualcomm is valued at $182 billion USD.
The Jacobs Family and The Obamas
Qualcomm cofounder Irwin Jacobs was Barack Obama's 2nd largest campaign donor in 2008, giving a total of $2.122 million, right behind Jeffrey Katzenberg, Hollywood producer and former CEO of both Disney & DreamWorks, who donated $2.566 million.
In May 2014, President Obama attended a fundraising luncheon at Jacobs' residence in La Jolla. This event was organized to raise funds for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, with attendees contributing $10,000 per plate, or $34,000 a couple to attend the VIP reception.
PRESIDENT OBAMA: Thank you so much. Thank you. Well, first of all, let me just say thank you to Irwin and Joan and the whole Jacobs family. They have been great friends for, as Irwin noted, a very long time.
“And they’ve got some really good-looking grandkids -- (laughter) -- that I had a chance to meet.” -Obama’s remarks while addressing attendees of the fundraiser.
Pictured below, Joan and Irwin Jacobs attended the 2016 State Dinner in honor of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. This was during his visit to the White House under Obama’s presidency.
Follow the “Philanthropy” of The Jacobs Family
Qualcomm is San Diego's largest tech company. Through his success and wealth, Irwin Jacobs has chosen to invest in globalist candidates, institutions, projects and universities that serve a larger agenda that, in my view, does not strengthen the average American.
After “following the money”—and there’s a lot of it so I’m unable to cover it all—we can see who, and what, the Jacobs have made a priority through their support.
Irwin Jacobs contributed over $2 million to PACs supporting Obama in 2012, and family members practically ran scamdemic tyrant—and now-disgraced—Nathan Fletcher for San Diego mayor in 2012 and 2013. Just a year after hosting Obama, Jacobs had Hillary Clinton at his personal residence in La Jolla to fundraise for her 2016 Presidential run against Donald Trump.
The campus of the local NGO that has aided illegal immigration over these last four years—Jewish Family Service—was named for Joan & Irwin Jacobs. UCSD's engineering school was renamed the "Jacobs School of Engineering" after their $15 million gift in 1997, followed by an endowment gift of $110 million to support scholarships, fellowships and faculty support at the Jacobs School.
The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank was named in 2011 after Joan and Irwin Jacobs, and Stephen P. Cushman helped eliminate the mortgage on the food bank's facility in Miramar.
The Jacobs Medical Center at UC San Diego Health, which opened in 2016, was made possible by the Jacob's $100 million contribution. Many of these donations, and those for other research initiatives, are funneled through the The UC San Diego Foundation.

In 2021, Joan and Irwin Jacobs donated $14 million to UCSD’s Center on Global Transformation, within the School of Global Policy and Strategy. The center’s core mission is to:
Foster and disseminate research that addresses global economic and technology transformation
Develop and maintain a network of leaders that will shape public policy over the coming decades
Establish San Diego as a hub for ideas and scholarship on international policy
Today, Joan and Irwin Jacobs are UC San Diego’s biggest donors. Over the past five decades, their support to UCSD has exceeded $460 million.
Another recipient of the Jacobs “philanthropy” is the (anti-American) American Civil Liberties Union Foundation, who announced in January 2022, that it was renaming its list of pending United States Supreme Court cases to the "Joan and Irwin Jacobs Supreme Court Docket" in honor of the couple's $20 million gift—the largest one-time endowment gift in the organization's history. When researching Jewish Family Service, I learned that they use grant money to pay lobbying expenses and partner with the ACLU to change laws that benefit those taking advantage of America.

“Joan and Irwin’s decades-long support has fueled so many of our accomplishments, and it is a privilege to recognize their partnership in this extraordinary way. This endowment gift equips the ACLU to continue its legacy of bringing the most crucial cases to the highest court of the land, which is as critical as ever right now.”
—Anthony D. Romero, executive director of the ACLU
Another recipient of the Jacobs’ generosity is the San Diego Symphony, who has received well over $131 million from the family. The Jacobs Music Center was named for them after a $120 million gift. San Diego’s recently built open-air music venue was named Rady Shell at Jacobs Park after an $11 million donation from the Jacobs for the construction. I’m eager to show you all I have learned about Ernest Rady—Rady Children’s Hospital’s namesake—in part two of this article.
A recent donation of $10 million to the Cygnet Theater will support the construction of a new performing arts center at Liberty Station. It will be named “The Joan,” after Irwin’s late wife who passed away in 2024.
The Jacobs Family Campus, of the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center in La Jolla, was largely financed by Joan and Irwin Jacobs. In 2011, the Jacobs gave $40-million to their “Joan and Irwin Jacobs Fund” at the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego, where Joan Jacobs served as the Vice Chair. Originally established in 1967 as the Community Foundation of the United Jewish Federation, for decades this group has aggressively fundraised in the Jewish San Diego community to support the state of Israel. Ernest Rady was their chair fundraiser at one time. Read the history behind this supportive community, who released a comprehensive article on the San Diego “Builders of Israel” in conjunction with Israel’s 60th birthday in 2008.
The Salk Institute for Biological Studies is a prestigious research institute in La Jolla, CA, known for its contributions to biology, genetics, neuroscience, and medical research. It was founded in 1960 by Jonas Salk, creator of the polio vaccine.
The Joan and Irwin Jacobs Science and Technology Center is a 100,000-square-foot facility that was recently constructed at the Salk Institute thanks to a $100 million pledge from the Jacobs. The center houses four scientific centers:
Cancer Center, which focuses on developing new therapies and drugs to fight cancer
Center for Healthy Aging, which focuses on research related to aging
Hess Center for Plant Science, which focuses on research related to plant biology
Crick-Jacobs Center for Theoretical and Computational Biology, which focuses on research related to computational biology and engineering
The Salk Institute for Biological Studies is where controversial physician and biochemist Robert Malone performed experiments that showed how human cells could absorb an mRNA cocktail and produce proteins. Those experiments, he says, make him the inventor of mRNA vaccine technology.
I’d like to throw in that the National Institutes for Health (NIH) awarded Salk $66,396,443 in funding—our money—in 2024 alone.
The main building at the recently-renovated Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla is named the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Building in honor of the Jacob’s $20 million gift, which kicked off the fundraising efforts for the remodel.
San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria noted the significance of the museum’s reopening saying the city will now embark on its “first-ever cultural planning process that we’re calling ‘The Creative City,’” which aims to weave arts and culture investments into other city initiatives such as infrastructure and climate plans.” Hmm.

Joan and Irwin Jacobs have also given a total of $30 million to the Central Library in downtown San Diego through the San Diego Public Library Foundation. In recognition of their support, it was named the Central Library at Joan Λ Irwin Jacobs Common.
This same library has hosted Pride Drag Story Hours for preschool, elementary and middle school-aged children. The drag duo “Raquelita & Barbie Q” were also asked to perform at a Jacobs’ High Tech Elementary campus, which I detail below.
This family loves global education schools, which are simply diversity, equity and inclusion indoctrination labs. Through UCSD and Qualcomm, the Jacobs designed Think a Bit Lab for the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Center for STEAM Education, which is a "Global Learning Charter School" in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The goal for this school was to become a High Tech High of the east coast, modeled after the first HTH charter school founded in San Diego by Gary Jacobs. They aim to prepare students to be "global-ready." What exactly does global ready mean?
Irwin Jacobs Elementary is another school built in Jacob’s hometown of New Bedford. After just five years of constructing the “urban school model,” much of the playground had to be rebuilt to be safe enough for K-2 students. Community educators warned officials that the dream playground, recognized with national architectural awards, wouldn’t work for younger students. And the massive rope climbing structure takes up the only space where the older children would rather run and play. When confronted with this issue, New Bedford Mayor said it was an “urban school” and urban schools don’t have lots of space for children to play. He then boasted of the the high-tech setup, the computers that Irwin Jacobs paid for, the roof garden and the piano lab. The new playground remodel cost the local community, considered an “underprivileged sector,” over $102,000.

The Global Learning Charter school, Irwin Jacobs Elementary, and High Tech High all offer project based instruction where teachers are systematically analyzing student performance through data collection and heavy technology use. Is this the globalists’ model for education?
A San Diego State University employee of 13 years told me:
“Any of the students that came from High Tech High schools had to participate in remedial courses simply because they were not taught the basics, such as how to write an essay.”
Two Globalist Dynasties: The Jacobs and The Clintons
I was surprised to find old photos of Irwin Jacobs with Bill and Hillary Clinton. From speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative to hosting a fundraiser for Hillary at his personal residence, the relationship with the two families goes way back.
During Bill Clinton's presidency, his administration collaborated with Qualcomm to promote technological advancements. In 2000, Qualcomm committed $25 million, including $7 million dedicated to enhancing math and science education in San Diego schools through investments in educational technology and K-12 teacher training. I would love to know what was introduced in that “training.”
Additionally, the Clinton administration supported Qualcomm's international endeavors. The U.S. Commerce Department and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative advocated for Qualcomm's CDMA technology in global markets, particularly in China.
In 2014, Hillary Clinton received $335,000 from Qualcomm to be their keynote speaker for Wireless Reach’s Third Annual Convergence of Women, Technology and Innovation. The company also gave between $103,000-$265,000 to the Clinton Foundation.
Irwin Jacobs is obsessed with China, but he won't talk about it. Jacobs, 67, is a mild-mannered engineer and MIT professor by background. But he's also the chairman of Qualcomm, one of America's high-tech standard-bearers--literally. The San Diego, California-based company owns key patents on a wireless transmission standard known as CDMA, which experts agree is one of the better ways to send data.
From a Newsweek article “Qualcomm's Long March” published Jun 24, 2001
After his presidency, Bill Clinton continued to engage with Qualcomm’s Wireless Reach through the Clinton Global Initiative. Qualcomm launched the WeTech Initiative (Women Enhancing Technology) at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting. Through CGI, Wireless Reach has supported programs like the Mentoring Women in Business initiative, which connects women entrepreneurs with mentors to help them grow their businesses using mobile technology. This initiative focuses on providing women and girls with training and resources to pursue careers in technology. At least that’s what they say.

Remember when I said that former Qualcomm employee and UCSD professor, Nathan Fletcher, was selected by Irwin Jacobs to run for San Diego Mayor in 2013? Well look at all these photos and tell me these people aren’t investing in the long play.
On a photo of a younger Bill Clinton with Nathan Fletcher as a child, the former president writes: “To Nathan Fletcher. You’ve come a long way! Bill Clinton 4-3-14”
Nathan Fletcher shared a photo in 2016 of himself with former president Bill Clinton with the caption “There is no doubt Bill Clinton is still the man!!! It was a real honor to welcome President Bill Clinton to San Diego today. Amazing crowd. Great message. He really made the case for Secretary Hillary Clinton!”

Granddaughter, and Congressional Representative, Sara Jacobs
In the Wikileaks emails we see a motivated Mary Pat Bonner using her connections with John Podesta to get Irwin Jacob’s granddaughter, Sara Jacobs, a position on Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

John, Hi, hope you are well. I just wanted to follow-up again on Sara Jacobs. I have attached her resume here and I am also attaching an email from Ann O'Leary who was working on this as well, but as we discussed, I don't think this will get done without your help. Thanks so much for all you are doing to help on this.
Regards, Mary Pat
After multiple back and forth emails between Mary Pat, Podesta, Sara Jacobs and others, even being told there wasn’t room for Sara on Clinton’s campaign, Sara managed to finagle her way into a position as a senior policy advisor to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign. I wonder why this was so important to the Jacobs family, who inserted Sara, age 27 at the time, to effect policy.
Here is Sara emailing John Podesta herself:

Dear John,
I just spoke to Mary Pat Bonner, who let me know that I should send you my resume, which is attached. As I believe she told you, I'm very interested in working in the policy office of the campaign. Thank you so much for helping me with this, I really appreciate it. Please let me know what other information you need from me.
Best,
Sara Jacobs
From Sara Jacob’s website:
“Prior to serving in elected office, Congresswoman Jacobs spent years working to address, minimize, and prevent conflict, instability, and inequality around the world. She worked in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations at the United Nations; in the Innovation Unit at UNICEF; in the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations at the U.S. Department of State; and as a foreign policy advisor to Secretary Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign.”
Sara tells the Jewish World:
“I was in a lot of meetings with President Obama at that point but I was always what they call a back bencher,” she said. “I would staff the assistant secretary or the undersecretary meetings, and I would often write memos that went to the White House.”
In the summer of 2015, she joined Hillary Clinton’s campaign for President. “I was on her foreign policy team,” she said. Based in the campaign’s headquarters in Brooklyn, New York, she helped to staff meetings with foreign heads of state coincident with their arrival at the U.N. General Assembly.
In 2016, the Clinton campaign decided “to send all of us at headquarters to New Hampshire for 10 days before that primary, and for this San Diego girl, being in New Hampshire in February, was quite an eye opening experience.” From there she moved on to help in Tampa, Florida, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Clinton’s surprise loss to Donald Trump was “very difficult,” Jacobs recalled with a wince.
“I’d like to see San Diego for Every Child [Sara’s foundation] as a continuation of my parents’ legacy,” Sara Jacobs said. “My grandparents and parents built institutions and now our generation is building the systems.”

According to OpenSecrets, California’s 51st Congressional candidate, Sara Jacobs, was the fifth most self-funded candidate in the 2020 U.S. elections—contributing over $6.9 million to her campaign, accounting for more than 90% of her total campaign funds.

Sara Jacobs’ current mission as a congresswoman is to whine about the billions of dollars of fraud and waste that President Donald Trump is exposing. Yet her family is directly tied with projects that receive these funds so we know she is running cover for their global “endeavors.”
For example: Sara's family—through The Jacob's Foundation—joined the "What Works Hub for Global Education," an international partnership that includes a collaboration between the Blavatnik School of Government (University of Oxford), the UK government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the British Council, Building Evidence in Education (BE2), the Global Education Evidence Advisory Panel (GEEAP), the Learning Generation Initiative, UNICEF Innocenti, UNESCO-IIEP, and the World Bank. The initiative has received over $70 million from USAID, with USAID funding some of these foundations individually as well.

UCSD and the Clinton Global Initiative University
In 2011, the University of California San Diego hosted the fourth annual Clinton Global Initiative University meeting which brought together students and national youth organizations to create and implement Commitments to Action across five focus areas: education, environment & climate change, peace & human rights, poverty alleviation, and public health.
In 2018, 42 UC San Diego students participated in another year of Clinton Global Initiative University. Students, university representatives, topic experts, and celebrities came together to discuss and develop “innovative solutions to pressing global challenges.”
The Jacobs Family and University of California San Diego
In March of 2025, Irwin Jacobs, and his late wife Joan, will receive the University of California’s highest honor: the UC Presidential Medal.
“UC San Diego continues to rise as a world-class public research university in large part due to the visionary support of Joan and Irwin Jacobs,” said Pradeep K. Khosla, UC San Diego chancellor and the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Chancellor’s Endowed Chair. “The Jacobs’ decades of steadfast involvement, dedication and friendship with UC San Diego has enabled many of our biggest priorities, including student access and support, driven groundbreaking discoveries and furthered our collective public health. We are deeply grateful for their generosity, which has forged a lasting and impactful legacy that will continue to shape the future of our region – and the world.”
In 2016, The Gates Foundation awarded $2.4 million to researchers at UCSD's QUALCOMM INSTITUTE for the development of a digital infant vaccine ID called "Kidprint Project." The Gates Foundation has given over $60 million in grants to UCSD.
Alongside Elon Musk and others, Irwin Jacobs was an angel investor of NeuroVigil, a non-invasive brain-monitoring company founded by Canadian Philip Low when he was just 27.
Jacobs currently sits on NeuroVigil's advisory board. Low was recruited to the Salk Institute in San Diego and wrote his PhD thesis on dynamic brain activity mapping, which he completed in 2007 at the University of California, San Diego. In 2011 he received the Jacobs-Rady Pioneer Award for Global Innovation & Entrepreneurship from UCSD.
Stephen Hawking, a former member of the NeuroVigil Scientific Advisory Board, requested the technology be adapted for use in ALS research and in 2013, Augie Nieto became the first person to communicate with iBrain on a single wireless channel.
In 2024 NeuroVigil released iBrain in 4 U.S. states (it was first launched on the pharma market in 2009). A non-invasive portable brain monitoring system, iBrain is designed to record and analyze brain activity through a single-channel electroencephalogram (EEG). This neurotechnology breakthrough secured NeuroVigil a $6 billion valuation, which made it the highest valued series B company at the time.

The Jacobs’ High Tech High, Bill Gates + Divisive Curricula
High Tech High was founded by Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs (Congresswoman Sarah Jacob’s parents) in 2000 with the goal of rethinking traditional education. Its curriculum is designed to integrate STEM, humanities, and “social-emotional learning” in a hands-on, collaborative environment. High Tech High nows operates 16 charter schools across four campuses in San Diego County. These campuses are located in the cities of Point Loma, Chula Vista, San Marcos, and Clairemont Mesa. This network of schools serves approximately 6,350 students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a masters degree program available as well.

The public charter school's most significant funding came from Irwin and Joan Jacobs, with The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also giving over $41 million through the years. In 2003, their foundation awarded other San Diego area schools an $11 million grant with the goal to transform them into “high-performing small learning communities.” The recipients were Kearny High School, Crawford Educational Complex, and San Diego High School.
In his 2009 annual letter, Gates admits that “many of the small schools that we invested in did not improve students’ achievement in any significant way. But a few of the schools that we funded achieved something amazing. They replaced schools with low expectations and low results with ones that have high expectations and high results.” Huh? I didn’t know subjective expectations were measurable.
“Social-emotional learning” is a trojan horse for equity themed indoctrination whether its through “social justice” or radical gender ideology. One San Diego mom removed her fifth grade daughter from the High Tech High system after learning her teacher was introducing LGBTQ themes in class. You can read Suzanne’s testimony here.
“For 4 years I saw my daughter flourish, and in the 5th year I saw the insidious entrance of woke ideologies creeping in. It began with the firing of “old guard” seasoned teachers being replaced by young (cheap) activist teachers, and ended with “projects” pivoting from butterflies to LGBTQ activism in our 6th year at High Tech.”
-Suzanne, mother of former High Tech elementary student
Suzanne’s statement above is true. I checked the teacher’s salary and it was 32% below the national average. The High Tech High employees mentioned below have gone on to work at other local educational institutions.
After being locked out of school for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, Suzanne’s 5th grade daughter returned to a full week of in-person LGBTQ indoctrination.
The teacher (a graduate of UCSD with pronouns in her email signature) announced via email that her class would be participating in GLSEN’s (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network) “Day of Silence.”
Below is the email that the parents received, which created a fire storm of divided opinions. At one point, the school director got involved on the email chain and voiced support for the teacher and the “Day of Silence.” Again, this is for 5th grade students which are around age 10 at this time.
One parent responded:
“How much time and emphasis will be spent on LGTBQ topics? Although I am an advocate for equal rights and support LGTBQ as well as being inclusive, aware, and tolerant of all different types of people at this age, I also believe these topics are more appropriate for at home discussions and the little time they have in person should be spent on actual academics. Is this something we can discuss? also is this curriculum something parents consent to in advance? I may have missed that email. Please let me know.
And the response from the director of the school:
A beloved teacher of 18 years was fired and replaced with a young, black activist teacher who posted the BLM manifesto in her room. Below is the entrance to her classroom where 5 year olds are turned to social justice warriors during coloring time.
High Tech High parents started an Instagram account with one post reading:
“More on what’s happening inside San Diego classrooms, as parents send me signage hidden behind closed doors.
This is information posted in a kindergarten classroom @officialhightechhigh elementary school in Point Loma.
Looks like I’m not the only parent who was told “teachers create their own curriculum.” I was also told it is “diversity” and “there are not other learning options.”
It is up to the parents to demand lesson plans & ensure curriculum aligns with that of your home and values.
This is not inclusive. This is not developmentally appropriate.
This is not their job.”
Another debased act from one High Tech elementary school was in 2022, when staff members thought it was a good idea to host a drag show ON CAMPUS with performers who have lewd and inappropriate videos on their YouTube channel. Parents rallied and protested and thankfully, the event was canceled—only after a horrible response from the campus administration, which you can read about here.
Interesting numbers from the High Tech High Foundation
Below are High Tech High FOUNDATION tax statements, ten years apart. The snapshots of 2014 and 2023 show over $30 million going in and out in 2014, and only around $560,000 going in and out in 2023.
A tax-payer—and privately funded—PUBLIC charter school has educators and administrators with pronouns in their bio, teaching elementary school students. This is the “inclusive” vision the Jacobs family has for education. I personally do not consent to my tax dollars funding this indoctrination, nor having any affiliation with unelected Bill Gates. All these schools should be investigated.

Below is Mara, who now goes by Dylan, holding her diploma after graduating from her parents’ High Tech High Graduate School.
Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs’ other daughter, Beth, identifying as a “they/them.”
Son Adam Jacobs has been an active member of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce for years, serving as Chair of the Board in 2023.
The Jacobs Family Internationally
I wish this article wasn’t so long so I’ll try to show you at a high level how other Jacobs family members have been involved on an international stage. Joan and Irwin Jacobs have 4 sons: Gary, Hal, Paul and Jeff Jacobs.
Jeff Jacobs worked at Qualcomm for 22 years, eventually leaving after holding positions as Chief Marketing Officer and an Executive Officer of the company.
Paul Jacobs assumed the role as CEO of Qualcomm after his father Irwin stepped down. He held the position from 2005 to 2014.
In 2011, Paul Jacobs was listed as a participant in the e-G8 Forum in France, an event that included global leaders and was attended by Klaus Schwab. Paul has been actively involved with the World Economic Forum over the years. He participated in multiple WEF Annual Meetings in Davos Switzerland, including those in 2012, 2014, and 2017, being a speaker in 2012. By 2014, he had assumed the role of Chair of the WEF's Future of Mobile Communications Council.
Watch this video of Paul Jacobs saying the wireless industry can bring us mobile healthcare where people can be monitored at all times. We can have full time monitoring and control.
For anecdotal context: this leftist family loves their agendas. Below is Jess Jacobs, Paul’s daughter and Sara’s cousin, protesting the right to kill babies. Her shirt reads “Everyone knows I had an abortion” and “F*ck abortion bans.”
Jess has recently worked on a film called If You See Something, showing the “complex realities of immigration.”
About the film: “In the throes of a new love, an Iraqi immigrant seeking political asylum and an ambitious American woman start to build their life together in New York. When a crisis strikes, they are forced to navigate its impact on their relationship.”
Political propaganda by Jess Jacobs?

The Jacobs Family influence spans far outside of San Diego, and even the United States borders. Both Irwin and Gary Jacobs have established significant ties with the State of Israel through various philanthropic, educational and fundraising initiatives.
Gary Jacobs and Israeli Yaacov Schneider have been instrumental in fostering connections between the Jewish communities in San Diego and Israel. In 1998, San Diego agreed to be a partner with the Jewish Agency for Israel in the funding of a student village at Ibim, where young immigrants from all parts of the world travel to Israel. The Sha’ar Hanegev (Gates of the Negev) region of Israel, is minutes from the perimeter of the Gaza Strip.
In 2000, Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs established the International Teen Leadership Institute. This brings together Jewish teenagers from San Diego, Israeli teenagers from the Sha'ar Hanegev region, Israeli Bedouin teenagers from Segev Shalom, and Palestinian teenagers from Gaza. Participants engage in a year-long program that includes travel to San Diego, studying historical Muslim/Jewish relations in Spain, and visiting Israel to study these relations from a modern perspective.
The Jacobs Investment Company LLC, founded and managed by Gary Jacobs, has been actively involved in investments within Israel, particularly focusing on life sciences and medical technology sectors. Based in Nazareth, Israel, JIC has over $100 million in investments.
In 2013, the Jacobs gave their largest donation, a pledge of $133-million, to establish The Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute in New York City which is a partnership between Cornell University (Joan and Irwin’s alma mater) and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. They "foster radical experimentation at the intersection of research, education, and entrepreneurship."
The Jacobs have also supported the Israel Democracy Institute by establishing the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Center for Shared Society in 2021. This center focuses on strengthening social solidarity and promoting democratic values in Israel. Additionally, they endowed the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Distinguished Fellowship, providing a platform for former senior policymakers to engage in research and policy development.
The Rady School of Management at UCSD pairs students with graduate students at Technion, and other Israeli Universities, through the U.S.-Israel Center on Innovation and Economic Sustainability program. Technion has received tax-payer funding from both NIH and USAID—$21 million at least.
Irwin Jacobs serves on the international advisory board for the Technion in Haifa, reflecting his commitment to advancing education and research in Israel. In 2010, he donated $26 million to establish the Irwin and Joan Jacobs Graduate School at the Technion's Haifa campus. He’s also on the advisory board for the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University in Bejing, China.
You’re a long-time supporter of the Jacobs and someone forwarded you this article to say: “how could anyone dare question a family that has given so much to San Diego through medicine, arts and education?” Well, what if these gifts are metaphorically laced with poison? I see the fruits growing from the trees that the Jacobs have planted and I wouldn’t dare eat from one—even if I was starving to death.
Read part two of this article to learn about Canadian Ernest Rady, of the Bronfman family, and his influence and control of multiple organizations through his philanthropy.

Thank you so much! It’s a dense read but hopefully all necessary information to show people what’s afoot! Thanks for reading!
Very intensive research on the Jacob’s Family. I knew a bit about their ‘history’ and all the “organizations and causes” they fund. Joan is gone now, but Irwin is still around. He’ll be gone soon as well, but he along with his sons, and grandchildren (though they are an interesting bunch and don’t seem to have done a lot of “reproducing” of children ), have made sure the Jacob’s Family “tentacles” are well intact and run deep.
